About JBD Veterans Unity

JBD Veterans Unity was founded by a United States Marine Corps veteran with more than 20 years of service who understands firsthand the challenges veterans often face when searching for information, resources, and support.

After years of having to visit multiple websites, make countless phone calls, and navigate complicated systems just to find answers, it became clear that there needed to be a place where veterans could come together, share information, and help one another succeed.

JBD Veterans Unity was created to serve as a community-driven resource center where veterans, military families, caregivers, and supporters can find information, share experiences, and learn from one another.

This is not an official government website.

JBD Veterans Unity is an independent platform built by veterans, for veterans. While we provide links to official government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and veteran support programs, the heart of this platform is the collective knowledge and experience of the veteran community itself.

Every veteran has a story. Every veteran has lessons learned. Every veteran has experiences that may help another veteran avoid unnecessary frustrations, discover opportunities, or find support during difficult times.

We believe veterans should share their real-world experiences with VA facilities, healthcare systems, disability claims, education benefits, housing programs, employment opportunities, transition challenges, community organizations, and any other resources that may help fellow veterans and their families.

Not every experience will be the same. Some veterans may share stories of challenges, obstacles, and lessons learned. Others may share stories of success, recovery, growth, and organizations that stood beside them when they needed support. Both are valuable.

By sharing our experiences openly and honestly, we can help fellow veterans make informed decisions, avoid common pitfalls, and discover resources that truly make a difference.

We also encourage veterans, military families, and supporters to submit suggestions for information, resources, programs, or services that should be included on this platform. No single person knows everything, and this site will continue to grow through the knowledge and contributions of the community it serves.
